REPAIRING YOUR AYALA BAR JEWELLERY

For your own safety and the safety of all our customers, we will no longer be offering returns on earrings. Until further notice.

  • Items are eligible for repair within 6 months of purchase.
  • Receipt or proof of purchase from AYALABAR.CO.ZA must be included.
  • Customers are liable for the cost of sending items for repair, but return postage of said items, once they have been repaired, is covered by AYALABAR.CO.ZA.
  • When returning an item, please use a method of shipping that you can track as we cannot be responsible for items we did not receive. (PostNet or courier service).
  • Repairs may take 5 to-7 weeks to be returned.
  • Repairs are not valid if your piece has been repaired or had workmanship done outside by other jewellers or parties other than Ayala Bar Design.
  • Repairs covered by our Warrantee include damage due to defects in workmanship.
  • Due to the nature of our products, we may not be able to order certain components or parts needed to repair older items. In such cases we will do our best to find similar looking substitutes.
  • Place invoice or proof of purchase with your jewellery in a well-padded box. Do not use padded envelopes. A box is essential to protect the jewellery.

RETURN POLICY

If you are dissatisfied with your online purchase, you may return it to AYALABAR, subject to the below conditions:

Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within 10 business days of receipt of merchandise.

Non – returnable items

Earrings cannot be exchanged nor returned for hygiene reasons. (Earring post are hypoallergenic and made from surgical stainless steel).

  1. Refunds and Credits

    If you elect to return a necklace, bracelet or ring and require a refund:

    • If purchased online, refunds on items will only be administered if the item is returned within seven (7) days of receipt of the item.
    • After AYALABAR has received and inspected the product, your account will be credited. Please allow seven (7) days for a credit to appear on your account.
    • Refunds will be issued per EFT to the banking details provided by yourself in terms of clause 4 hereof.

    If you elect to return a necklace, bracelet or ring and require a gift voucher:

    • If purchased online, gift vouchers on items will only be administered if the item is returned within seven (7) days of receipt of the item.
    • The item can only be exchanged for an online gift voucher of the exact same value.
    • After AYALABAR has received and inspected the product, your account will be credited. Please allow seven days for a credit to appear on your account.
  2. Conditions
    • Please note that AYALABAR reserves the right to refuse any return, refund or credit on any item if any items returned are:
      • Worn or appear to be worn;
      • Broken, damaged or impaired in any way whatsoever at the discretion.
      • Not in its original packaging, where such packaging must be unopened and unaltered and must include all packing material and the product card.
    • No gift cards purchases may be refunded.
    • All defective items shall be repaired, exchanged or refunded for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.
    • Please note that AYALABAR cannot guarantee that upon an items’ return, that the exact same model will be in stock. The returned item will however be exchanged for an item of similar price or a gift card.
  3. Process

    If all the above conditions have been met, kindly submit the return submission form below as well as proof of purchase from www.ayalabar.co.za. Please note that your banking details must be emailed: info@ayalabar.co.za.

  4. Once the purchase has been returned and inspected a credit will be issued.
